Paul Lindahl is a C-Suite executive with well-established experience as a serial entrepreneur, business architect, and trusted leader. Paul most recently was the Founder and CEO of NGRAIN Corporation, and has been President / CEO of three companies, in diverse industries from computer manufacturing and nature tourism, to 3D graphics technology. He has built start-ups and operated growing established businesses. His significant business achievements have been created through building powerful executive teams and attracting exceptional board members to accomplish the strategic plan.
Paul graduated from the University of BC in 1981 with a B.A.Sc. in Geological Engineering and holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Queen’s University.
Bert brings extensive experience in the fine art editions market to Arius Technology and is developing new channels to deliver the brushwork of the most fascinating artists of our time, to homes around the world. Before moving to Vancouver, Bert served as a strategic partner and General Manager of LUMAS, one of the world’s largest international chains of photo galleries. Previous to this, Bert has spent several years in the Middle East managing large-scale logistics and support contracts for Xeless Group, a prime contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense.
Bert graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business & Economics from Oxford Brookes University. Outside of work, Bert likes long runs, rolling on wheels, gliding on water and sliding on snow.
A seasoned engineer with over 15 years of experience in embedded and optomechanical systems, Ken brings his analytical and abstract thinking abilities, combined with a collaborative leadership style to head up the engineering team at Arius. Ken has previously worked at PMC-Sierra in the Storage Systems department, and at Kodak where he successfully completed two patents related to laser imaging calibration and characterization.
Ken graduated with honours from the University of Victoria in 2001 with a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering. In his spare time he enjoys photography and exploring the wilderness roads on his Dual Sport motorbike.
With a background in fine arts, teaching art and a passion to make art accessible, Lori joined Arius Technology to lead the marketing department. Lori also has more than 18 years of marketing experience with expertise in global consumer eCommerce and all things digital. Prior to Arius Technology, she worked at Sage, TELUS and helped to build several successful consumer goods startups including Robeez and Mio.
Whether it’s on a kayak in the ocean or hiking the local trails, you’ll usually find Lori outside when she’s not at the office.
Mike is an experienced technology executive with more than 25 years spent developing and commercializing precision electro-mechanical and advanced material technologies. He has co-founded and played executive roles at two venture-backed technology start-ups, and led a worldwide R&D team of 250 at Creo/Kodak developing precision pre-press equipment for a $350M business unit serving the printing industry.
Mike graduated from the University of Alberta in 1985 with a B.Sc. (Eng.) in Electrical Engineering and from the Caltech in 1991 with a Ph.D. in Applied Physics. He is a Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia, a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and is an inventor on six issued US patents.
Pat is the Managing Partner of a Family Office that administers over the investment funds of his family’s various business enterprises. Previously, Pat was with BMO Nesbitt Burns for 24 years where he was most recently a Senior Vice-President & Managing Director in Vancouver. Pat has been actively involved with preserving and growing investment capital for over 25 years.
Pat’s background includes leading the personal financial planning operations of an international accounting firm, as well as the founding and the sale of a successful business. In addition to these business skills, Pat achieved his designation as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia (1983) and his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of British Columbia (1982). Pat has been an investment advisor to institutions and individuals for over 25 years. Pat is active in his community and in the past has served as a trustee on a major trust and endowment fund in Vancouver.
Noel Hall is currently a consultant to the life sciences and technology industries and a seasoned board director with more than 25 years of experience in the biotechnology and technology industries. Noel was President and Co-founder of Aspreva Pharmaceuticals Corporation, which was acquired by the Galenica Group in January 2008. Prior to co-founding Aspreva in December 2001, Mr. Hall co-founded the life sciences practice of consulting firm Hill and Knowlton in 1995 and served as head of global strategic planning for the firm’s worldwide pharmaceutical consulting practice.
From 1992 to 1995, Mr. Hall was the director of corporate affairs for the United Kingdom and Northern Europe for The Wellcome Foundation Ltd., which is now part of GlaxoSmithKline PLC. Mr. Hall started his career in pharmaceutical sales and marketing after qualifying as a Medical Laboratory Scientific Officer at the Royal London Hospital.
